Marie-Brigitte Hämer-Buro (born Buro) was born April 27, 1924 in Berlin. From 1946 to 1952 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Berlin. From 1951 to 1954 she worked in the architectural firms Rambald von Steinbüchel-Rheinwall in Frankfurt am Main and Felix Schwarz in Zurich. In 1953 she worked at the "Grille" Studentendorf Eichkamp for an exhibition on the CIAM 9 in Aix-en-Provence. In 1954 Marie-Brigitte married Buro, and in the same year her daughter was born. Since 1985 she carries out private assignments and consultancy, especially in the field of interior design.
