The "Ciudad del Vino" is a new structure which has been added as an expansion to one of the oldest wineries in the region of Rioja in Spain, the "Viños de los Herederos del Marqués de Riscal S.A." The building, designed by architect Frank Gehry has an exterior cladding of pink and gold titanium and mirror finished stainless steel, similar to the Guggenhein Museum in Bilbao which is only one hour away. The building houses a hotel, a spa, a restaurant a meeting and a conference center. All facilities are run by Starwood Hotels.
